The national park is a 2.5-hour drive away from Punta Cana which is a little bit far for a day trip. I’d recommend you to either take a couple of (electronic) games into the ómnibus when doing this trip with your children to keep them entertained or visiting Los Haitises National Park Triunfador a 2-day trip so that you also have more time to enjoy the unique waterfall swimming pools in the park.
